RECOMMENDED DISTANCES AND HEIGHTS

When hanging your hammock, always slowly test your support structure as you begin to recline. Strong healthy trees, deeply grounded columns, or other sturdy structures are great choices when trying to find the perfect place to relax. We advise against hanging your hammock on anything that will break.

Our relaxation and development team recommends the following dimensions for the ultimate Fiesta Ziesta experience:

SITTING HAMMOCK

The hammock must be hung on a point that would be strong enough to support the weight of the persons that will be using it. Choosing the right structure by which to hang the hammock is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Purchaser must make sure the structure is sound and strong enough to hold the weight of users who sit in the hammock. The ideal distance that the hammock’s body should have from the floor is described in the image bellow. If the height is longer we recommend you to use the rope mentioned on page 3. DO NOT USE a spring with this hammock.

TRADITIONAL HAMMOCK / AMERICAN HAMMOCK

The hammock must be hung between two points that are strong enough to support the weight of the person that will be using it. Choosing the right structure by which to hang the hammock is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Purchaser must make sure the structure is sound and strong enough to hold the weight of users who sit in the hammock. The ideal distances for hanging the hammock are described in the image bellow. For longer distances between the supports we recommend to use the rope mentioned on page 5. DO NOT USE a spring with the American Hammock since it becomes highly unstable.
